Sammy grinned, battle, battle battle. "A real battle? Neat!" he said excitedly. The boy looked at her as she said they should eat first...it made sense after all...no use fighting on an empty stomach. "Okay~" he said with a grin.
His FIRST battle! Well...he wasn't going to say that but...it really was. All the way here he kind of...didn't see anyone who wasn't in a battle already...and...they all were kind of not interested in fighting him for some reason. The boy and his mudkip followed the woman.

Sammy put his finger to his lips. "um...I think it wouldn't look as cool maybe?" Of course he would take her question as literal and serious...thats just who he was. The boy hummed as he looked at the menu, having to stop himself from drooling at all the wonderful sweets. It was like...freaking heaven! Of course, he looked at Muddy and showed the creature the menu.
It was kind of cute, the little Mudkip pointed towards things with its little fin, causing the two to be talking to each other. To skip the details it was mostly,'But what about that?' followed by 'But it looks so good!' or some form of pouting while his Pokemon helped him narrow down the choices. By now it had to be blatenly obvious who was the real 'trainer' in their relationship.
The boy looked up, nodding, "Yup, this," he said pointing to something that looked like a weird eclair looking thing on the menu. At least he hadn't picked something uber expensive...or a lot of things...just something that looked uber unhealthy...deep fried and smothered in chocolate! Was there anything better?

The boy nodded as the woman sugested they go outside to eat...it wasn't a bad proposition...seeing how nice it was outside. The boy followed after her as quick as he could...seeing as she kind of got a little head start. "Okay~" he cheered, a little late as they were already on their way outside.
When they got out the boy ran a little ahead of her, putting his hand over his eyes to shield them from the sun like he was scouting some treacherous terrain...instead of a city street. The boy looked back as Muddy stood by him,"What about that bench?" the boy said a little loudly pointing at a bench nearby.

Hm? The beach? Well that didn't sound like a bad idea at all. Gwen smiled to herself for a moment watching the boy run ahead of her and then slowly nodded to herself. "The beach sounds fine,"s he answered back with an easy nod before heading in that general direction. As she finally came to the actual sand, the woman found herself almost immediately starting to kick off her shoes. She liked the feel of sand between her toes and therefore was resolving to go for it then. Upon finding a dune of sorts that seemed to be stable enough to sit on, Gwen finally seated herself and then slowly pulled a few pokeballs form her pocket. After a few seconds, she relesaed her Gardevoir, Munna, and Espeon. She had left the others back home being notorious for only keeping three with her seeing as any more seemed too much for one reason or another. The Gardevoir, a calm being by all of nature's standards, became instantly aware of Sammy and looked over towards him offering the boy and his pokemon a light smile. The Munna, however, seemed to have been let out while asleep and was more or less standing there with her eyes closed. The Espeon 'humph'ed to himself and started to walk around looking for somewhere to lay down. Gwen half smiled before taking out a few of the sweets and offering them to her pokemon. Stephaney, the Gardevoir, took one of the Applefritters and gently began to start eating. Sonya, the Munna, simply ignored the food and remained sleeping while Felix instantly snatched up his own food from the bag and walked off again. "Oh how rude of me," the teal haired woman said looking towards Sammy. "These are my friends, Stephany, Sonya, and Felix," she stated making a motion to each.

The boy looked at the magic of the waters that were by them, the soft but warm sand you could feel the heat even from your sneakers. He didn't dare take his shoes off though. The boy watched as the woman sat down and let out three Pokemon.
With a flash of light he saw a bunch of psychic Pokemon released. The boy grinned, cheering a little,"yay~ More friends to play with!" He really was a simple kid, some find it annoying and some find it cute or endearing. The boy waved at the Gardevoir and the sleeping Pokemon since the Espeon didn't seem to like being all people friendly.
The Mudkip stepped up in front of Sammy to look up at the large Gardevoir...at least when compared to itself. The creature smiled, using its signature phrase...'Mudkip' The boy sat down in the sand and looked up at the creatures with wide, excited eyes.

The mudkip smiled, of course all the trainers could hear was it repeating its name. ("Hello, its a pleasure to meet you.") was the translation. It was more calm and level headed then its trainer, though she was still a little like him which is why they got along well.
The boy looked over at the woman as she asked him a question. "Yup, me and Muddy are all brand new and stuff...I wanted to go out last year but my brother made me wait a whole year before I could convince him to let me go." The boy said cheerfully. He was rather obidient with his brother, he loved his family after all.

The small mudkip tilted her head as the Gardevoir spoke to it in the tongue that the two humans most probably couldn't understand. ("Someone has to take care of him, he'd be lost without me,") the creature said with a smile. The small blue creature nodded at the name, ("They call me Muddy, it's a pleasure.")
The boy on the other hand was sitting over on the sand as the woman was eating. The boy tilted his head,"Nope, its just me and Muddy now." The boy smiled at that, most likely this would show how new he was that this was his only Pokemon.

The mudkip nodded in agreement, ("Of course, how would they function without us, hehe.") The little mudkip smiled with that as the two humans spoke to eachother.
The blonde boy tilted his head,"...Whats a Challenge Head?" He honestly couldn't be this clueless could he...though it is kind of ironic that he was talking to one and he didn't even know it...or know what it is apparently.
The blonde put his finger to his lips,"Are those the people who fight in the big buildings and give you stuff if you win?" the boy asked...okay so maybe he knew a little bit.

Stephaney grinned a little and then nodded her head slowly at the Mudkip. <very true... So did you come from the professor's lab or were you originally wild?> the Gardevoir asked rather inquisitively. However, Stephaney's situation had been quite a bit different from both instances she had stated. Indeed, she had originally been a child of Stephan's own Gallade, and though her father had long-since passed, Stephaney retained his memory easy enough.
Gwendolyn literally sweat dropped as she heard the boy's question. well... that was something... a bit odd, really. The arena heads were rather popular, and she did consider herself one of the more fashionable and therefore more popular of them....mur... oh well....he was a kid right? Yes that had to be why most definitely. Despite the fact that these thoughts had come to Gwen's mind, she found herself a tad sour on actually believing them. "Indeed," she answered back after a few seconds. "We hand out arena badges and sometimes prizes with it," she answered back rather easily.... shoot.... >>' hadn't meant to say we there...hm....oh well

The little mudkip tilted its head. Well truthfully the Mudkip was born in niether place. ("When I hatched I already had a trainer, but he gave me to his brother to watch over him and we've been together since then.") the mudkip said. That's why he was the perfect companion for Sammy.
The boy, Sammy, is luckily pretty dense. The boy tilted his head,"Challenge Heads give out shiny badges and stuff! That's so neat! I can't wait to meet one~" the boy said happily. The boy had selective hearing apparently, just selectively ignoring the fact she pretty much admitted to being a Challenge Head.
