Now, why was the strongest of the Challenge Heads so far from his arena? It was simple: they had the best ice cream! Yes, yes, he craved sweets every now and again. The blond had gone to the Vanilluxe Ice Cream Parlor a few times before in the past, but he was younger. It had been, what? Six or seven years? Either way, it had been a while since he was last there.
The dark shadow of a large bird darted across the concrete sidewalk, changing form every so often when the owner of said shadow flapped her large, powerful wings. The Pidgeot glided across the sky, weaving through buildings. On the bird's back was mister big shot himself--the seventh and final Challenge Head, Yoshi. The boy was grinning as his blond bangs flew around, whacking him in the face every five seconds. The long feathers sprouting from the bird-like Pokemon's head flowed out behind both the Pokemon and the teenager, flapping around when the wind decided to buft them.
Yoshi whistled three short, shrill notes, and the bird slowed down, decreasing the distance between them and the ground. The bird made a complete stop once her feet were on the cold sidewalk, and the boy gracefully hopped off her back. "Thanks, girl! Mind waiting out here for me? I don't think the owners will appreciate a large bird shedding feathers all over their ice cream." The Pidgeot huffed in annoyance but positioned herself right beside the entrance to the ice cream parlor, seeming to stand guard almost. The blond let out an airy laugh, patting the bird on the beak. He strolled over to the parlor door and opened it, walking inside.
"Hello everyone~!" He cheered, waving his right hand in the air while his left hand hid in the front pocket of the red hoodie he was currently wearing. Sure, he probably didn't expect anyone to actually know who he was (unless they were mega geeks who knew everything about the Challenge Arenas) and why the hell he was waving his hand around like an idiot, but he didn't care.
ooc: Fail? D: I'm supposed to be doing homework, but I don't wanna do it. x3

A few people would return the greeting and smile before getting back to their ice cream, or conversations. The man standing at the counter simply smiled. "Yoshi! It has been quite some time, no?" The man chuckled softly and nodded his head. "What would you-"
"Gah!" came a yell from the kitchen behind the man. Noah came out, covered in a tan-pigmented ice cream. He muttered crossly and went to go clean himself off with a rag set out on the counter, before retreating back into the dessert kitchen.
"Remind me never to try making bacon ice cream again," he cast to his Snivy, Harmony. She simply giggled and rolled her eyes. Melody, his Solosis, hung around in the air and watched Noah with some complexity. She titled her round form curiously before receiving a quick rub from Noah and that same grin. "Alright, fine. You know I can't stay mad at you." It had indeed been the Solosis' fault for bumping into the machine, but Noah didn't mind.
The man at the counter looked to Yoshi. "Excuse me for a moment." He poked his head into the kitchen. "Noah? Son, you okay back here?" The man received a simple yes before he came to face Yoshi again. "So, what can I get you?"
Meanwhile, Noah escaped the kitchen for a while, coming out of the kitchen and walking outside. He sat on a bench and ran a hand through his hair. His innovations in dessert-science hadn't been working out so well recently.

Hey, at least he didn't skip. That would just have been a bit too girly for him. Yoshi was about to reply, but the yell made him close his mouth. Blue eyes glanced over to the ice cream-covered boy. He laughed at this.
The Challenge Head watched the little event, speaking once the man came back. "I'm guessing that was your son? The one that I never really interacted with as a kid?" Well, back then, his main priority was to get his ice cream and eat it. Never did he actually try to converse with many other people back then.
ooc: Another fail! :D

The man chuckled softly. "Yeah, that's the one. The son who can't keep his head out of the clouds," he said, shrugging. "Noah is very helpful around here though. I run the place, but surprisingly, most of what people eat her are his creations. The boy hasn't ever really left this city yet; but he's a trainer now I suppose. Has two Pokemon but neglects to leave just yet. Says he has unfinished business."
The man shrugged again. "Then again, I could just be misinterpreting. I'll call for him if you want to talk."

"His head may be in the clouds, but at least he can help your profit levels!" The blond scratched the back of his head, randomly finding a spot the itched like crazy. Don't you just hate it when your head starts doing that?
The boy thought for a moment before replying. "Sure, why not? I might just be able to get the kid to fly from the nest. Just maybe, of course." Though... Bacon ice cream did sound pretty good right now... How that was going to work, however, seemed to be a challenge. Maybe the kid will actually be able to figure it out one day? Who knows.

The man shrugged. "Go right on ahead," he said, gesturing to th kitchen. He stepped aside and opened the door for Yoshi to the kitchen.
Within the belly of the beast, despite the recent explosion, everything was actually very clean and organized. Noah was methodically whipping up another batch as he waited for some ice cream to finish. Handing the mixing spoon to Harmony, who could actually mix quite well even with her small form, he went to the an ice cream machine and filled a cup as it finally completed. Tasting the tan cream, he shook his head. "Too salty." He had yet to notice Yoshi.

"Thanks!" He walked through the door, inspecting the kitchen once he was in it. Who would have thought it would still be clean after that explosion or whatever it was? The blond glanced over at the younger boy and his Pokemon. So, being stuck inside the parlor has left his Pokemon untrained? That only figures.
The Challenge Head quietly made his way over to the boy, mentally snickering at how oblivious he was to anyone who entered the kitchen. When he was pretty much right behind the kid, Yoshi placed a hand on his head, ruffling the boy's hair. He felt kind of weird standing next to a boy who was younger yet taller than him. Usually, the older kids were taller, but that wasn't the case here. "What'cha makin' there?" He asked, peeking over the brunette's shoulder to stare at the bowl of ice cream.

Noah gasped and turned as someone ruffled his hair. He hadn't expected that coming at all! ._. Not that he ever would, anyways. Surprising him was a fairly easy task since he had a crippled heart, which meant his heart rate increased for the slightest reasons.
"Uh..." he stammered, blinking as he looked at Yoshi. He looked at the ice cream in his hands before setting it down. "Bacon ice cream, but it's a little too salty." He set down the bowl and checked the nearest ice cream machine. "Hmm... still have some more time." Harmony leaped over and posted herself on his shoulder. Noah grabbed a random bowl of green ice cream and tasted a little, shrugging and starting to eat it. He leaned against a counter and looked at Yoshi. Honestly, for all the desserts he ate, he was alarmingly thin. "So. What's up?" he asked as if people coming back here was an everyday thing. Which quite honestly, it wasn't; seeing as how the boy had no real friends other than his Pokemon and family.
